MCACM – Store – is a fairly common museum shop, just without the museum and without the shop. The paintings seen on T-shirts, mugs or towels are dedicated to the activity of cleaning and maintenance. Within the iconic repetition of these objects, we seek the potential attractiveness of that seriously unheroic form of work – a form of work that, in the midst of a destructive present, is always concerned with the preservation of the existing.

MCACM – Store – ist ein ganz normaler Museumsshop, nur ohne Museum und ohne Shop. Die Malereien auf Tassen, T-Shirts oder Handtüchern sind der Tätigkeit des Putzens und Pflegens gewidmet. In der ikonischen Wiederholung der Objekte suchen wir nach dem Attraktionspotential jener ernsthaft unheroischen Form von Arbeit, die sich inmitten einer zerstörerischen Gegenwart immer auch um den Fortbestand der Dinge sorgt.
